The very first design-a discovery of myself

It was an annual dinner of my company. I just couldn’t find the dress I liked. So inspired by a skirt in the magazine, I designed this skirt. I wanted it to be a 3 layer skirt and could be just above the knees.I paid for somebody else to do it for me and only described to her how I would like it to look like. It turned out the fabric wasn’t enough and it didn’t drape the way I wanted--so it had only 2 layers which are not obvious.However, with the silver effect, it became the focus of the night.First time ever I knew I can design!
